BABY FACE (Don Jazzy and Wande
Coal Comparison) a kennedy Tareotu Review.
PRODUCER : SHEYI SHIZZI
2nd VERSION: DON JAZZY
COMPOSER AND SONG –WRITER : WANDE COAL
INSTRUMENTATION
Shizzi Version: The instrumentation was simple and fixed to
a melody, it nearly lacked a drive, at every single pause of the beat we get
the same thing in return, no surprises. It has much of good drum line, but the
melodic were shady and made relaxing instead of vibrant, hitting and
progressive.
Don jazzy version: The instrumentation of this song is
beautifully made; it needs no vocals to make you dance. It’s a club hit that
would automatically make you dance without much work. It has a great essence in
the drum lines, and bass lines, which provided a fixed steady impact in the
groove of the song. It is quite different from the original beat by Shizzi, it
had a splendid acoustic progression that sounded fantastic and mind driving at
a time. And the drum lines were heavier.
SINGING SENSATION
Don jazzy and Wandecoal are two opposite singers, a great
Baritone as Don Jazzy and a fantastic tenor as Wandecoal diminishing his vocal
skills to sing below par, but yet giving us great works.
WANDE COAL VERSION.
In Wande coal’s version I have to commend him for two
things, a great lyrical content and a great composition. Is singing sensation
gave the beat an edge, and a great rhythmic infrastructure to the song.
The chorus is well arranged, and gave us a great pause at
interval with an exclamation worthy of taking note. The drive in this song is the
continuous pause making the exclamation ‘eh’ to come in.
The Lyrical content was fixed to make a beauty in
significant afro gestures, after stating few controversies and making great
syllables.
‘Baby Cinderella, see your body – smooth attender’
‘Forever we stay together, no retreat and no surrender.
‘All the girls get agenda’
‘Get bad luck like Arsene Wenger’
The continuous syllables in this song has given quite a
great progression, and made the song more acceptable and fun to listen to.
Splendid writing.
Don Jazzy Version:
This version was driven by so many things, number one I won’t
dispute the fact that the drum lines were heavier than the original version,
which made the song heavy and more acceptable to dance to. The beat also heard
a driving bass line that kept on hitting its rhythm to give us a difference and
a great sound. A third thing to notice is a great acoustic of high life play
that came loud and once in a while to spice the whole song. The beat contributed to the great output of
this version.
The singing sensation of Don jazzy is always fantastic,
because he possesses a rare baritone that no one has. A great baritone like
this is always filled with emotional quotient. At every interval/pause of the
beat and vocals, you could hear quite an emotion in the voice, which made it
different from
Wande Coal’s version.
The lyrical content and composition is a great work
Wandecoal alone, but about who did better in this song. The simplicity in my
theory is not as controversial as it would sound.
Don jazy made a better and a more groovy beat with enormous
progression, while Shizzy settled for less.
Wande coal made a superb lyrical content that was
unbelievable to crave out.
Don Jazzy singing sensation did fit the song due to his baritone;
it makes the song sound more entertaining.
Wande coal who is a more professional singer had to settle
below par to do a song like this, but what you realize is the simple fact of
having to create a great sound like this.
Better beat and singing sensation by Don jazzy.
Fantastic lyrical content and composition by Wande coal.
