How it works

      1.       Understanding The Marsh Up Africa record holders

This is a means of keeping and following all the musical records in Africa, this is a brand like the Guinness World Record, which focuses in keeping and exposing the great and unknown music records by an African act. Submit your works for free to Marsh Up Africa, and if it is a worthy attempt, Marsh Up Africa would honor you by looking at your attempt. If you are successful in making or breaking a musical record, Marsh Up sends you a certificate that proofs you held a record to your name at a particular year or season.

      2.       Understanding The Rankings

The Marsh Up rankings is like the Billboard of Africa, we rank all African songs, but this time both Professional acts and promising acts.
Each Ranking is not done by voting, due to the fact that fans would vote for who they know and leave out small African countries that are musically unknown. We review all songs submitted to us, we rate the best and place them in their appropriate table of ranks. The reviewers then send their table of ranks to the Marsh Up Team, which finally places the songs and publish the ranks.
To get your song ranked you have to be a Professional act or a Promising act. Being promising would mean being not just upcoming but fast coming. You make sure your songs have a presence, either online, radio, tv e.t.c, making it easy to find by a fan, before consideration.
Submit your song to a reviewer for a fixed prize, you can submit as much as you like, before submissions contact the Marsh Up Team for submissions, asking for permission to submit a solicited musical manuscript for consideration – marshupsubmissions@yahoo.com. Write ‘Music Submission, seeking permission to submit a given amount of songs, and stating your method of payment’. The Marsh Up team would answer you as soon as possible, accepting your payment method or giving you theirs depending on your state/province/country.

      3.       Understanding The Marsh Up Legendary Mark.

Not all acts make it to being a legend, only few end up with such title, but Marsh Up has made it easier for them to check how close or far they are to being a legend. The Marsh Up Legendary Scale counts that from 1 – 30, all acts that fall in that number in a continent not country, is a Legend in the continent.
